Associate Manager Engineering will be the liaison between the developer, eCommerce, Digital Marketing and Information Technology teams. This person will handle the day-to-day eCommerce software development projects and drive them to completion in support of Cost Plus World Market's online business strategies and objectives. In addition, this role plays a key part in the brainstorming, development, creation and execution of long-range business and marketing strategies through the application of existing data and analysis.
- Run daily scrum calls to discuss support tickets and project updates with platform vendor and cross functional team
- Gather business requirements, create project plans including scoping and scheduling, and communicate weekly updates
- Manage and follow through on support tickets with internal QA team
- Assist with maintaining department's roadmap in support of the departments KPI and growth strategies
- Create documentation (design specifications, mockups, wireframes) that enables the organization to build better solutions
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in Business Requirements gathering related to full life cycle software development
- Possesses understanding of application programming, database, system design and infrastructure
- Demonstrates expertise in Project Management and applies up-to-date knowledge to optimize action plans
- Self-directed, works effectively with minimal supervision
- Extensive vendor management experience
